For the past 15+ years, my family and I have been using Castillo Services for all our AC needs. When something is wrong with our heating and cooling systems Willie is there and quick to respond. Last time my AC went down Willie was there that same day to give me a portable AC unit (for no charge), so I could survive in this Texas heat until he could get someone there to fix it. This last time I dealt with Willie he replaced my AC unit and enrolled me into the City Energy Weatherization program. Other than a phone call and an email with the bank I did not have to do anything else. It was that simple. Castillo Services handled it all and I am completely satisfied with how it all turned out. I did get a couple of bids and some were more than double for what I ended up paying for a City inspected and tested installation.

I had Willie come out beginning of june when it was raining all the time and he came out same day and blew out our condensate line. Willie just came back because the humidity and intense rain this year gummed it up again.

Luckily I have not needed any major a/c repairs but my unit did stop working in the middle of summer about 4 years ago and Josh from Castillo Services was on the ball to help me out! Since then, as recommended, I have gotten semi-annual checkups which help to prevent major problems by finding the symptoms in advance especially since I have an older unit.

Willie immediately checked the warranty on my AC unit.... something no previous tech ever did (and thus did not realized I had one). I wanted to take advantage of Austin Energy's special rebate program, so I researched AC companies. I interviewed 5 companies and received 5 bids. Castillo was one of the lowest bids. I spoke with the office manager, Shelly multiple times. She was responsive to our needs. I also spoke to the owner multiple times; including weekends. He always answered the calls and answered our many questions. I was so impressed with their customer service thus far that I chose them to do our installation. Installation was within days and the system works well. The installation was clean, fast and friendly. I could not be more pleased and can not recommend them any more highly.

The motor went out on my Condenser on Saturday during the storm. I called 6 HVAC companies who all declined for different reasons. One even tried to charge me $150 just to come out. I'm very thankful I found Willie and Castillo Services Air Condition. I'll be using Willie for my personal home and referring him to clients.
Willie not only replied within minutes he was at my house in less than 15 minutes!!!! I have an 11 month old baby and we needed immediate assistance. Willie replaced the capacitor to get us through the weekend and then today the motor. He did an excellent job for a great value as well. He's a south austin local and been in the business for decades. Honest, reliable and very good at what he does. Our house is ice cold and Willie has earned a customer for life.
